The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Law and Scout Oath. Three major areas of emphasis are:

• Character Development

• Citizenship Training

• Personal Fitness (physical, mental and emotional)

Boy Scouting offers young men age 10 through 17 a challenging, fun, outdoor-oriented program in which to develop life skills and interests.
